Custom Work
-
Randy Savage
This ink drawing of the one and only Randy Savage was created as a custom work for a client’s boyfriend. He was a big fan of wrestling, if you couldn’t have guessed.
-
Marriage Party
A couple opted for a watercolor painting of them on the invitation to their celebration of marriage.

So I did a thing
When your kid graduates high school you could order the standard graduation announcement cards the school offers, or you can have a custom card made with original artwork. Ian’s parents opted for the latter, and I had so much fun creating cards for this momentous day. These cards were single-sided, and details for the commencement ceremony and college plans for this grad were included on the back. Envelopes were burnt orange for the University of Texas.

Florals from places lived
This is a large (30”x30”) watercolor painting on canvas. I created a collage of plants from the places one Navy family has lived over the years and then painted it. It now lives on a wall in their dining room, reminding them of all the beautiful places they have called home.
-
Anniversary Flowers
The first year traditional anniversary gift is paper. This watercolor painting of a wedding bouquet was a gift the husband gave his wife on their first anniversary.
-
Save the Dates India
A marriage in India and a wedding celebration in Fort Worth required two separate save-the-dates, each with illustrations of landmarks from both places with a subtle reference to their geographical locations. 8-9 original sketches are included on each.

Stockholm
This client wanted one of their favorite photos from a recent trip to Stockholm to be memorialized in a black and white ink drawing. I LOVED using so many hard lines for the smooth surface of the water. This is one of my more detailed landscape drawings to date.

4 Sisters
Sisterhood is worth celebrating! A daughter requested custom drawings of her mother and her mother’s three sisters as a birthday gift for her mom. She requested I go over-the-top with color and go crazy with the background of the portraits; the more color, the better.

Marshmallow was the name of a beloved pet hedgehog requested to be drawn as the gooey part of a s'more. Note his little spikes poking through the graham cracker.

Coco in a cup of cocoa
Coco is my Pomeranian, and for my holiday cards in 2023, I created this illustration of her in a cup of cocoa. She’s always a crowd-pleaser.
